Positional Sacrifices – Vol. 1: Pawns

The course has been divided by theme, with multiple videos per chapter. Can't overstate how good this is
These are some of the best chess videos I've ever watched. The theme is fun, Kostya has chosen excellent examples, but more than anything, it's clear that he has spent hours preparing his lectures. Many chess videos meander or waste time as the presenter gathers his or her thoughts; in these videos, the content is so dense that hardly a word is wasted. It’s clearly the kind of thing that just seems casual and effortless to the viewer (which obviously makes for good and pleasurable viewing) but I’m sure required hours of preparation. For anyone who afford it, I honestly guarantee they will be happy with the purchase. It would be the #1 video chess course I recommended.
Among the Best Instruction I've Encountered on Any Topic
This course is among the absolute best pieces of chess instruction I have come across. The material has been highly systematized in its structure and presentation, and the efficiency of the delivery in presentation cannot be outdone. I am very often looking to get through a chess book or video, etc., because I very quickly get to the point where I believe I have passed the point of diminishing returns, but IM Kavutskiy's material on pawn sacrifices proved to be a rare piece of instruction, in that I went through the entire run of material twice. It seemed as though there were dozens of times in each lesson where I'd have a question pop into my head, and then, as if to hear my thoughts, Kostya addressed my question. In this way, I have to admit that I am very impressed by the logic and approach Kostya takes in teaching and analyzing. On the topic of pawn sacrifices, this course is absolutely essential to improvement, especially players in the 1600's to 2200's looking for the varieties of compensation one might get in theory, as well as in concrete positions. Highly recommended.
Very systematic and well done!
This course was extremely systematic and gave many instructive examples, carefully outlining the important details. The author's pace was not too fast, as he was easily understandable, but still fast enough to get in many examples. The target audience seemed to be club players, though I bet that even experts and some masters could get a lot out of this course. Highly recommended.
This course really opened my eyes!
I have seen moves like these in games but never truly understood them until now. IM Kostya Kavutskiy has a gift for explaining chess ideas like positional pawn sacrifices. He makes the concepts easy to see and easy to understand. This class was a great value for the small fee. Thank you for making this class. It will definitely improve my chess game.
