Other than being forced by a court to allow this individual to participate in chess.com activities, I can’t imagine why he would be allowed back into the website. If he undisputedly cheated, then he should undisputedly be banned.
What does chess.com gain from allowing someone they accused of cheating back on their platform? Is it press, the attention of will he won’t he cheat again. Hans may have been dishonest but this says more about chess.com than the individual actor.

Nothing proves that Hans Niemann cheated in chess.
This solidifies my decision to never pay chess.com a single penny going forward. They are condoning cheating and many of us have paid to good money and lost good money to this cheater and others. The online game is for fools and cheats as we’ve always suspected. Good riddance.
